Martín wanders through Tangier, unsure of what to do with his life. There he meets another eccentric man twice his age: Abel, a cheerful, adventurous bon vivant. And, on a wild night, they decide to blow up a nuclear power plant: doing so will be the only light in their bleak future. But only when Ana, Abel's young lover, joins them on their journey (along the coast and into the interior of the country) is their destiny confirmed.
