Priya R. Singh, daughter of wealthy businessman Raghunath and housewife Savitri, falls in love with fellow student Vijay Verma despite initial clashes. Raghunath, however, wants her to marry Vikram, the U.S.-based son of his friend. Defying her father, Priya elopes with Vijay and arranges a temple wedding with the Principal’s help.
