After the family matriarch passes away, her estranged granddaughter, Ashley, begins the impossible task of cleaning up the affairs of a woman she never knew. Amidst the clutter, Ashley discovers a letter written by her grandmother, Rose, addressed to her mother, Molly, and in reading it, she begins to piece together the reason behind Rose and Molly's falling out, while bridging the past to the future.
